Returning to its roots, Dr Martens' Vintage range is produced by cobblers in the original factory in Northampton, England with a selection of the finest leather for a premium men's ankle boot that is unmatched style and quality.

Made from Quillon leather the smooth uppers of the men's Vintage 1460 boots are a rich oxblood red in colour and detailed with arching stitchwork across the sides. The lace-up climbs the front of the Vintage 1460 ankle boots, paraded by 8 pairs of metal eyelets and bound by a red lace. The collar line of the men's ankle boots are bare with no bindings for a classic look . Around the back, a looped pull-tag is embroidered with Dr Martens' Airwair and 'Bouncing Soles' Logos in yellow.

The sole unit of the Vintage 1460 boots is darker than the standard Original Air Cushion Sole to better compliment the oxblood red colouration, but still retains all the comfort and flexibility that has made them a popular part of almost every Dr Martens leather boot since they first rolled off the line in April 1960. The Goodyear construction of the 1460's sole is storm-welted with a binding on the lateral side, offering greater strength and durability.
