The smooth vamp is covered by a padded and pitted silver front that hugs the front of the leg and cradles the outside with three decorative buckles. Criss-crossing over the front, the boot is bound by lace that is pinned in place by rivot-studded hooks. A full length zip runs from the collar line to the sole unit for easy and quick fitting.

The platform sole itself is made of a foam rubber to better absorb shocks and impacts, and undulates from 2.75" thick at the toe to 4.5" under the heel.
