The simple stylings of the mary-jane shoe have been cross-bred with El Naturalista's unique design philosophy to create a distinctly individual piece of footwear.
The leather of the n021 is treated with river stones to naturally temper the hide and produce a luxurious and resistant finish, which is soft to the touch very flexible for walking. The hand-stitched vamp is anatomically shaped and wraps comfortably around the side of the foot with a toggle closed strap reaching over the bridge.
Providing protection is the 100% natural rubber sole unit, moulded into a rock formation design. Natural rubber is not only better a absorbing shock and providing a more comfortable walk but is also better for the environment as is degrades much faster after being discarded.
Inside the shoe is a padded insole made from recycled cork that helps to distribute weight over the foot more evenly, while a breathable recycled carbon compound optimises the relationship between shock absorption and ventilation for superior performance.
