From Dr Martens Modern Classics Collection, these womens Carey Capper Boots are based on the very first boots to roll off the production line on 1 April 1960, but updated for the new season in black hi suede.
The Carey, features narrow horizontal tread bars stitched over the toe giving the famous 'Capper Boot' toe cap. Arched triple rows of black stitching lies at the base of each eyelet line while a single row follows up the water resitant suede upper either side of the black ring eyelets. A broad strap follows up the heel of the womens Carey boots ending in a looped pull tag at the black leather covered topline. Fastening the Carey are thick, rounded black laces weaving their way through eight pairs of eyelets.
Inside, the womens Carey ankle boot is leather and textile lined in black and has a darker sole than on other Dr Marten boots with a bright pink rand but still retains the original AirWair sole with its good abraison and slip resistance.
