The rich, black, waxy leather upper of the Encore has a distinctive, gently flowing wave of six rows of detail stitching that travel up from the loafer's angular toe to the top of the shoe. Providing that extra detail, there is a criss-cross of double stitching running from the Encore's heel, along the side of the shoe, over its toe and back along the other side. A leather panel curves up the back of this men's loafer and a row of stitching follows this and around its topline edged in black leather piping. To the right of the heel lies a discrete embossed Base brand mark. For ease and indivual fit the Base London Encore has a hidden elasticated pannel on the topline.
Inside the Encore has been lined in soft to the touch leather while its lightly padded insole is in an opulant looking red printed with a black and gold pattern and the Base London logo in gold.
