From Dr Martens Industrial Collection, the Icon 2228PW Chelsea Boot is constructed with safety and durability in mind, for wear in more demanding situations.
The uppers of the Dr Martens Icon 2288PW safety bootsare in fine black haircell leather, with a plain, classical design featuring double stitching at every panel join for increased strength. Along the inner and outer sides of these industrial boots are wide vents made from a heavy duty elasticated textile, for a classic Chelsea Boot appearance and a custom fit around the ankle. The heel of these safety boots from Dr Marten is also double stitched and feature the classic Air Wair pull-on tag.
Inside, the Dr Marten Icon 2288PW boots are lined with hard wearing textile for comfort, and feature a concealed steel toe cap. The soles of the 2288PW are chunky with a heavy tread for resistance to slips and a plain welt, while its air cushioned sole and heel are designed to absord shocks as you move around. As with all Dr Marten safety boots, the soles are resistant to petrol, fat and oil.
